The Parklands of Floyds Fork is looking for energetic, skilled, and hardworking professionals to join our growing team responsible for maintaining one of the newest and most exciting parks in the nation. The following positions are open:  

Park Attendant

Under direction from the Parks Superintendent, attendants provide supplement support in the opening, closing, and weekend/ weekday evening maintenance coverage for The Parklands. This position works independently within the Parklands completing basic maintenance and facility upkeep tasks using maintenance equipment and vehicles. The position works early mornings, late nights, and weekend/holidays. Summer Camp Counselor

Under supervision from the Director of Education, Summer Camp Counselors are responsible for planning, leading, and implementing Parklands Summer Camp programs for children ages 5-12 in a small group setting. They are also responsible for the general safety and development, growth, and skill achievement of the participants in his/her group. The incumbent will provide high-quality outdoor educational and recreational experiences for participants that focus on The Parklands core values of safe, fun, clean, and beautiful. This position works both independently and as a team within The Parklands and ensures that summer camp participants have a safe, interesting, informative and enjoyable experience while in the Park. Seasonal Interpretive Ranger

Under supervision from the Director of Education, Interpretive Rangers provide supplemental support for Parklands educational programming and the Welcome Center in the PNC Achievement Center for Education & Interpretation. This position works independently and as a team within The Parklands and ensures that visitors of all ages have an interesting, informative and enjoyable experience while in the Park, through active engagement with the public and by teaching and delivering interpretive programs such as field trips, camps, birthday parties, and guided hikes. The incumbent will provide high-quality outdoor educational and recreational experiences for participants that focus on STEAM education, as well as The Parklands core values of safe, fun, clean, and beautiful. The position works early mornings and weekends/holidays. This is an hourly, seasonal position of 32-40 hours per week that begins in Mid-March, 2019 and ends Mid-November 2019. Lead Gardner 

The Parklands of Floyds Fork is seeking energetic, skilled, and hard-working professionals with horticulture expertise to join our gardening team. Our ideal candidate will participate in raising and maintaining the design and maintenance standards for gardens and natural landscapes. Candidates will work alongside Gardeners with oversight by the Director of Horticulture to ensure quality plant and horticultural landscapes for visitors within our park system. For full job description, click here.

The Parklands of Floyds Fork is seeking energetic, skilled, and hard-working professional with natural lands experience to join our operations team. Our ideal candidate will participate in raising and maintaining the management and design intent of our natural landscapes and conservation programs.
