Scott DeJarnette joined The Parklands team in August of 2018. In this role, he patrols all four parks during peak visitation and special events to help ensure park guests have a safe and fun experience. Scott retired from Louisville Metro Corrections Department as a Sergeant after 20 years. He is happily married with a daughter and a stepson. He enjoys traveling with his wife and the outdoors—fishing, hiking, and biking—so when he is not working at the park, he is usually in the park doing one of the above.
