South Maintenance Team Leader

As South Maintenance Team Leader, David Paris oversees the team of maintenance specialists and Park Attendants who are responsible for ensuring facilities and parks are clean and all park equipment is operable from Bardstown Road to “Long Bridge” in The Strand. He also supports special projects and events throughout the entire park, such as the annual Parklands fundraiser Field & Fork. David joined The Parklands team as a Maintenance Technician in October of 2015 and was promoted to Maintenance Team Leader in January 2018. Prior to working at The Parklands, David served in the United States Army for four years as an M1A1 Abrams Tank Crewman, stationed at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, California in the Mojave Desert. He spends his free time hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and traveling with his wife.
