PNC Achievement Center For Education & Interpretation

Due to COVID-19 Coronavirus, the PNC Achievement Center for Education & Interpretation in Beckley Creek Park is closed and all education programming is postponed. This includes field trips, Wednesday Wonders, and Storytime in the Storybook Forest. For the latest information on our response to COVID-19, CLICK HERE.

The PNC Achievement Center for Education and Interpretation, located at 1411 Beckley Creek Parkway, serves as both the Welcome Center and the home of The Parklands Outdoor Classroom. Here you’ll find knowledgeable and friendly Interpretive Rangers, interactive iPads, specimen cases, and a large mural displaying information related to the history and environmental resources of the area. Visitors will also find restrooms, water fountains, a Parklands Interpretive Ranger to help answer any of their questions, and two state-of-the-art classrooms used for field trips, camps, birthday parties, and other events.

*The PNC Center is closed Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
