The 22-acre Egg Lawn grows near Creekside Center in Beckley Creek Park. This egg-shaped event lawn is perfect for flying kites, playing ultimate Frisbee or kicking a soccer ball. It will also be the home to many outdoor festivals. The irrigated lawn is surrounded by the Egg Lawn Signature Loop, a 0.7 mile paved, tree and light post lined walking path where users can catch a glimpse of all the activity.
Beckley Creek Park is open dawn to dusk with extended hours around the Egg Lawn Signature Loop. Lights around the Egg Lawn light up at 5:00 AM and remain on until 10:00 PM year-round, in order to accommodate morning and evening walkers and runners.
If you're interested in hosting an event or regular practice sessions on the Egg Lawn, please call (502) 584-0350 and ask to speak with Director of Facilities and Hospitality Toni Woodard or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
