Water Fountain and Restroom Winterization

Water Fountain and Restroom Winterization

Beginning Thursday, November 19, all water fountains will be turned off and winterized for the season. We will turn the water back on in the spring when the threat of freezing temperatures has ended. Until then, water is available in the PNC Achievement Center for Education and Interpretation in Beckley Creek Park during open hours. Visitors should bring a water bottle from home to stay hydrated!

The PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Pavilion restrooms in Beckley Creek Park are also closed for the winter and portable restrooms have been removed until the spring. All other permanently fixed restrooms will remain open for use throughout the winter.

Thank you for your patience. This winterization process helps to keep freezing temperatures from damaging park equipment.
