Tree Down on Floyds Fork

6.27.19 UPDATE: The large tree blocking portions of Floyds Fork south of Seaton Valley Paddling Access, between mile markers 24.5 and 23.5, has been cleared. 

Floyds Fork is a wild stream. Please always be aware and prepared for downed trees when paddling the creek.

A visitor has reported a large tree across Floyds Fork between mile markers 24.5 and 23.5. This is just south of the Seatonville Paddling Access in Turkey Run Park. To avoid this strainer, please take out at Seatonville Paddling Access. If you are paddling the southern section, please put in below where the tree is located, at Broad Run Valley Paddling Access.
