Meadow Treatment in Broad Run Park Oct. 31

10/31/16 UPDATE: Meadow treatment continues Monday, October 31 in Broad Run Park near Cliffside Paddling Access. Visitors are asked to stick to the trails in this area and stay off lawns and meadows. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we prepare these natural areas for next spring!

Trails in the Cliffside and Lowland Plain areas of Broad Run Park will be temporarily closed beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, October 25 as meadows are treated to prepare for new plantings.

Closures could be shortened or extended depending on weather and other factors. Please respect all posted signs.

This meadow installation is made possible thanks to the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust. In the years to come, those meadows will be transformed into fields of native wildflowers.

Thank you for your patience!
