The Parklands Releases 2019 Annual Report


As visitation grows each year, we are reminded and humbled by how the community has embraced this nearly 4,000-acre, visitor and donor-supported public park system. With 3,111,680 visits in 2019, we have seen all walks of life utilize this community treasure. This special community asset is provided by generous community members, and we are so grateful for our generous supporters who believe in the mission to provide a safe, clean, fun and beautiful park experience, 365 days a year from dawn to dusk, free of charge to all visitors. The 2019 Annual Report takes a closer look at the benefits the free park provides to the greater Louisville community and beyond.

To view the full report, visit The Parklands of Floyds Fork does not receive tax dollars for annual operations, so it relies on support from individuals, businesses and organizations throughout the community to keep the parks safe, clean, fun and beautiful, free of charge, 365 days a year.

About The Parklands of Floyds Fork

The Parklands of Floyds Fork is a nearly 4,000-acre donor-supported public park system within the Floyds Fork watershed in eastern and southeastern Louisville. The $125 million project was funded through more than $70 million in private donations, combined with almost $50 million from federal, state and local government sources. Ongoing operations and maintenance are funded solely through private donations and an endowment fund. Community members may contribute to the annual fund by becoming a Parklands Member.
