Silo Center Bike Park Closed for the Season

Louisville, Ky. (November 21, 2019) —The Silo Center Bike Park in Turkey Run Park is closed for the season. Closing the bike park during the coldest portion of the year helps protect trails and features from costly and irreparable damage that can occur during the freeze/thaw cycle. The bike park will re-open in 2020 when temperatures warm. For more information on the bike park, including announcements on a re-opening date, visit

Natural surface trails throughout the rest of The Parklands remain open during all four seasons, including 15 miles of shared-use, natural surface trails and 19 miles of the paved Louisville Loop. Hikers, runners and riders are encouraged to practice trail etiquette no matter the weather. Please remember to share the trail, and if there is mud on your heels or wheels, turn around to prevent permanent trail damage.
