Section of Louisville Loop Reopened in Pope Lick Park

UPDATE Friday, Oct. 13: Bridge work is complete, and this section of the Louisville Loop has re-opened. Thank you for your patience!

A section of the Louisville Loop Trail in Pope Lick Park will be closed beginning Tuesday, October 10. Pedestrians can use Prairie Preserve Trail--an easy, hike-only, 1.15-mile trail made of crushed stone--to get around the construction.

Crews will be making repairs to the wooden bridge near Loop mile marker 67. We hope to have work completed and the loop re-opened for the weekend. Please check back here for the latest updates.
