Flood Closures in Parklands March 1, 2017

3.3.17 4:00PM: All areas of The Parklands have re-opened to the public. Soft-surface trails may take a few extra days to dry out. When exploring this weekend, help us preserve our trails. If there's mud on your heels or wheels, please turn around! 

3.2.17 10:30AM: Parklands staff will be working throughout the day to clean up and clear debris from areas that flooded earlier this week. Please check this page for updates as areas are re-opened to visitors:

Beckley Creek Park

 Pope Lick Park

The Strand

Turkey Run Park

Broad Run Park

3.1.17 2:30PM: Broad Run Park is now accessible via Broad Run Road and Turkey Run Parkway. The Bardstown Road entrance remains closed. Please see below for full list of closures.

3.1.17 10:00AM: Seaton Valley Trail in Turkey Run Park and Riparian Ramble Trail in Broad Run Park have been added to the list of closures. 

3.1.17 8:00AM: Due to flooding, staff have closed the following areas throughout The Parklands:

     - The Strand

     - Beckely Creek Park - from North Beckley Paddling Access to MSD plant (in northern section)

     - Taylorsville Road Loop underpass (at Pope Lick Park entrance)

Staff are monitoring areas throughout the park and will close additional areas as needed. Please check back here for the latest updates.
