Happy Trails!

1/20/17 10:00AM UPDATE:

The Strand portion of the Louisville Loop (John Floyd Fields in Pope Lick Park to Seatonville Road) is closed to visitors due to flooding.

The Fisherville Paddling Access located off of Taylorsville Road, is also closed, and Boone Bottoms Trail in Turkey Run Park remains closed.

When visiting The Parklands this weekend, please respect all posted closure signs. Thank you for your patience, and continue to visit www.theparklands.org for the latest updates.

Boone Bottoms Trail in Turkey Run Park is temporarily closed due to flood conditions along the trail. If you plan to visit The Parklands this week, please adhere to posted closure signs, and use your judgement when exploring our soft-surface trails. If there is mud on your heels or wheels, please turn around!

We will post updates here to inform visitors when Boone Bottoms Trail re-opens. Thank you for your patience. Your cooperation and practice of good trail etiquette will help us keep soft trails throughout our parks in world-class shape for years to come!
