With millions of visits per year, The Parklands relies on donations from the community.
Marty Stuart is a five-time Grammy-winner, platinum recording artist and country music legend, known for both his traditional style, and merging of rockabilly, honky-tonk, and traditional country music. Stuart continues to record and release relevant music, records that honor country’s rich legacy while advancing it into the future. Way Out West, his 18th studio album, produced by Mike Campbell (of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers), hits both of those marks. The Fabulous Superlatives, made up of guitarist Kenny Vaughan, drummer Harry Stinson and new member, bassist Chris Scruggs, are an extension of Stuart himself.

About The Parklands of Floyds Fork
The Parklands of Floyds Fork is a nearly 4,000-acre donor-supported public park system within the Floyds Fork watershed in eastern and southeastern Louisville. One of the largest and most ambitious metropolitan park projects in the nation, The Parklands is a dream realized by 21st Century Parks, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to create and preserve new unexcelled parks that serve as city-shaping infrastructure. 21st Century Parks is responsible for fundraising, land acquisition, construction, and long-term operations of the new park system. Ongoing operations and maintenance are funded solely through private donations and an endowment fund. Community members may contribute to the annual fund by becoming a Parklands Member. Being a donor-supported public park means we rely on donations, not tax dollars, for annual operations each year. Because of your generosity, we are able to maintain, program, and further develop this extraordinary public space without charging an entry fee. Together we work to enhance quality of life and help our community and economy grow in ways that are healthy, sustainable, and enjoyable for people of all ages.
