Parklands Members are invited to Park Roots, a special speaker series, featuring lectures from community figures who have a connection to preserving, building, maintaining and supporting our parklands. This new lecture series, similar to a TED Talk, will highlight various subjects relating to The Parklands, nature, community, and the rich history of the Kentucky landscape. Each hour-long program, which includes a presentation and Q & A session with the speaker, will take place in the Gheens Foundation Lodge at Beckley Creek Park. We hope to see you there!
