Join us as we clean up the Turkey Run Park trail system on Saturday, May 18! Our hike/bike trail system in Turkey Run Forest needs some TLC. Volunteers are needed to help with multiple trail projects including fence removal from areas close to trailhead, trash removal, corridor clearing, and drainage clearing (upper and lower). Some activities will involve heavy lifting, but with multiple projects, you can choose what works for you.
The group will meet at the Pignic Barn in Brown-Forman Silo Center in Turkey Run Park at 9:30 a.m. Parklands trail team members will greet volunteers and provide necessary equipment at the Pignic Barn. Participants are welcome to bring their own rakes, trimmers and pruners. Please dress accordingly for the weather. Sturdy shoes, long pants, and water are recommended.
We hope to see you there!
