Join us on Saturday, September 7, as we explore the many types of fungus in The Parklands. Fungus are an important part of every ecosystem helping to break down biotic remains like leaves and dead animals. We will explore the Turkey Run Forest looking for these fun guys!
The group will meet at the Ben Stout House in Turkey Run Park at 10:00am. Please come prepared with comfortable walking shoes, water, and a light snack. The program will go rain or shine unless there are hazardous weather conditions.
This program is best suited for kids ages 5-12. Monthly activities are FREE to Members (but please RSVP) and $5 for non-members (children and adults). Click the "Book Now" button below to register.
Junior Explorers and their families are invited to join monthly educational adventures at the Ben Stout House on the first Saturday of the month. During each program, Junior Explorers dig into a new natural history topic while actively exploring outdoors. JUNIOR EXPLORER PROGRAM
