Summer Camps: Water Warriors NOW FULL!

Our planet is 70% water. Our bodies are 60% water. Water is a fundamental part of life! Campers will spend most of the week splashing and wading in Floyds Fork searching for everything from the tiniest macroinvertebrate to the biggest fish. Join us as we investigate the importance of a healthy stream and how we can protect these ecosystems. Grab your water shoes and get ready for a wet and messy week of stomping in the creek!

This session of Water Warriors is NOW FULL! To be added to a waiting list for this camp, please contact Curtis at ccarman@21cparks.org or 502-815-0274. To view a full list of our summer camp offerings, including additional dates for Water Warriors, CLICK HERE.

Get Outside! Summer Camps at The Parklands offer exciting, enriching, discovery-based field experiences that allow children to touch, see and learn about the world around them. Children in grades K through 6 will participate in hands-on science investigations in the natural setting of The Parklands and through the use of state-of-the-art classrooms at the PNC Achievement Center for Education and Interpretation.

All programs offer a balanced day of in-classroom learning and outdoor field experiences. Camp hours are 9:00 AM-4:00 PM with drop-off from 8:30-9:00 AM and pick-up from 4:00-5:00 PM. Campers must provide their own sack lunch, a snack, and a bottle for water each day.
