How a Parklands Membership works

| Jim Moore

Our Members rock!  We cannot meet the community’s need for safe, clean, fun and beautiful parks without their support. We think about our Members every single day and we want them to know how thankful we are. We want them to engage in the parks they support and we want them to have fun.

During the year we strive to engage, play and learn with our Members and we have developed a plan with the goal to do that.  Almost 100 programs and events have been designed around engaging you within the park from hikes to picnics, all to showcase how we can come together and do something great for this community. We have also found some great businesses and organizations that support The Parklands and they provide our members with discounts and other perks at their stores.

If you are not already a member, it is easy to join:  www.theparklands.org/member.  As a member you're signed up for our e-newsletter and will get the latest information on upcoming events, new partners and new perks for our thousands of Members who make this park a reality for the millions of people who come and enjoy The Parklands. Your donation goes right back into supporting the operations of The Parklands, and it's 100% tax-deductible. Plus you get all those neat perks and insider information that only comes with a Parklands Membership.

If there is an event or perk you wish we offered, or just something you'd like to share with us, send us your comment and we will try our best to make it happen.  And, if you are already a Member, see if you can get a couple of your friends to join as it will take many of us to sustain this fabulous community asset.
