Bryan Howell joined The Parklands as Trail Experience Team Leader in April of 2016. He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a BA in Recreation & Park Administration. Before his move to Louisville, Bryan worked as a trail crew member for the United States Forest Service in Yampa, CO for two years. He’s also done trail work for the USFS in Ketchikan, Alaska.
While out west, Bryan gained experience in the area of wildland firefighting.
In his free time, Bryan loves visiting Red River Gorge with his dog, hiking, camping, or kayaking. He is also interested in craft beer and long walks along the creek in The Parklands.
