Blue Moon Canoe, your exclusive outfitters in The Parklands, now have a permanent location in the John Floyd Community Building located in the Pope Lick Park section of The Parklands.
●This new location will serve as headquarters for rental services, including canoes, kayaks, and bikes.
● Rentals will begin Saturday, April 1, weather permitting. In addition to our standard weekend hours (9am-5pm Saturday & Sunday), we are adding availability for rentals during the week. For weekday rentals, please call ahead for reservation.
●At the end of last season we added bike rentals to our offerings (formerly Pedal the Parklands©). Bike rentals will continue at the community building.
●Lastly, Blue Moon is gauging interest for a “Yoga for Paddlers” course, which would be hosted out of John Floyd Community Building. The proposed classes would be held during the week am & pm. Classes would be inside, with occasional classes outdoors, weather permitting.
Yoga classes would include gentle/beginners, intermediate and classes with poses geared specifically to athletes, such as paddlers, runners, bikers and hikers.
If you are interested in attending yoga classes at The Parklands, please send an e-mail to Jen at firstname.lastname@example.org. (If we generate enough interest then we will provide a full schedule)
We are looking forward to a great paddling and pedaling season!
