There is no better time than the peak of spring migration to get acquainted with the birds of The Parklands. This morning-long excursion will include birding the trail at Boone Bottoms in Turkey Run Park and and as much of the Wild Hyacinth Trail as time permits. Total distance will be between 2 and 4 miles.
The varied habitat will provide an opportunity to observe a number of both resident birds and migrants such as warblers. The trip will be geared toward beginning birders, but all experience levels are welcome.
