Junior Explorer: Turtles on the Move

Do you love exploring the outdoors? Dive deeper into discovering science and nature by becoming a Junior Explorer! The Parklands newest Outdoor Classroom program is perfect for kids ages 5-12, teaching science and an appreciation for the natural world, while encouraging kids to get outdoors and active!

Box turtles migrate every spring in search of a mate. Learn about these woodland turtles and meet our very own box turtle, Ranger Russell!

The group will meet at the Ben Stout House in Turkey Run Park at 10:00am. Please come prepared for the weather with proper clothing, footwear, and water.

*This program is best suited for kids ages 5-12. Monthly activities are FREE to Members (but please RSVP below) and $5 for non-members (children and adults). Join us for these fun, learning events!

This is a great perk for Parklands Members with kids!
